Neocambrian AI
Privacy Policy
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy explains how Neocambrian Industries Private Limited (CIN: U26409DL2025PTC448384), operating www.neocambrian.ai under the brand name "Neocambrian AI", collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information through the Website.
This policy covers only the Website. Data collected through our research, dataset creation, worker, partnership, or commercial programmes is governed by the separate agreements and notices applicable to those activities.
2. Information We Collect
We do not operate user accounts, newsletter signups, advertising profiles, or payment flows on the Website. We collect the following information:
- Request form information: name, work email address, organisation (optional), notes you provide about your requirements, selected dataset identifiers, and bot-verification token
- Website and security information: IP address, browser and device information, date and time of access, pages accessed, referring URL, request logs, and signals used to protect the request form from abuse
- Local browser storage: the dataset identifiers in your request list, stored on your device so the Website can remember your selected datasets
3. How We Use Information
We use personal information for the following purposes:
- To respond to dataset, access, research, or partnership enquiries
- To communicate with you about our datasets, research, and possible next steps relevant to your request
- To operate, maintain, secure, debug, and improve the Website
- To verify that requests are submitted by genuine users and to prevent spam, fraud, abuse, or unauthorised access
- To comply with legal obligations and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims
We do not sell personal information, use it for third-party advertising, or build advertising profiles from Website activity.
We rely on your consent and your submission of a request, our legitimate interest in operating and securing the Website, and compliance with our legal obligations as the bases for processing this information.
4. Cookies, Local Storage, and Third-Party Resources
The Website uses local storage to remember dataset selections in your request list. This data stays on your device until cleared by you, your browser, or the Website after a successful selected-dataset request. It is not used for advertising or cross-site tracking.
Our request form uses Cloudflare Turnstile for bot verification, which may set cookies or read device and browser signals to distinguish humans from automated traffic. We also load web fonts from Google Fonts and may serve dataset preview images, videos, and static media through Google Cloud Storage, which means your IP address and related request information may be shared with Google to deliver those resources.
5. Sharing and Transfers
We share information only as needed to operate the Website, process requests, comply with law, or protect our rights. Service providers include Vercel for hosting, Resend for email delivery, Cloudflare for bot verification, and Google for web fonts and Google Cloud Storage-hosted media. These providers may process information in India, the United States, or other countries where they operate.
We may also disclose information to courts, regulators, law enforcement, professional advisers, or counterparties in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or sale of assets, where legally required or reasonably necessary.
6. Retention
Request form information is retained for as long as needed to respond to and manage your request, maintain resulting correspondence or relationships, comply with law, or protect legal rights, after which it is deleted or anonymised where appropriate.
Website runtime logs hosted by our infrastructure provider are retained for a short default period, currently approximately 1 hour, unless we configure separate log retention or need to retain information longer for security, legal, or dispute-resolution purposes.
7. Your Rights and Grievances
Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you, withdraw any consent you have given (without affecting processing already carried out), and raise privacy-related questions or complaints. We will respond within the period required by applicable law.
8. Security and Incidents
We use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards designed to protect personal information, including access controls, encryption in transit, and security review of our data handling practices. No website or transmission method is completely secure. If a data breach or security incident requires notice, we will notify affected individuals and authorities as required by applicable law.
9. Age Limitations
To the extent prohibited by applicable law, we do not allow use of the Website by anyone younger than 18 years old. If we learn that anyone younger than 18 has unlawfully provided personal information through the Website, we will take steps to delete such information.
10. Updates
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time by posting a revised version on the Website with a new effective date. Continued use of the Website after an update means the updated policy applies to your use going forward.
